Mission Statement

 Our mission is to identify, preserve and promote the historic legacy of the Menifee Valley, to promote respect for our past and educate the public about its historical significance. 

Who We Are


We are a group of volunteers passionate about preserving the history of the valley for future generations. The Menifee Valley Historical Association is a 501(c)3 non- profit formed in 2004. Any donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

About the Authors

 Co-authors Elinor Martin and Betty Bouris assembled these early photographs for the Menifee Valley Historical Association.  Several photographs were loaned by descendents of pioneer residents who still call the Menifee Valley their home. 

Over 230 pictures of early Menifee from 1880 to 1960 co-authored by Elinor Martin and Betty Bouris for the Menifee Valley Historical Association. 

The cost is $20.00  All proceeds of sales of the book go to the Menifee Valley Historical Association
